ABOUT US - CORPORATE PROFILE On Site Access and Scaffolds was established in 1999, by Trevor James the current Group Chief Executive, as a specialist access company renting self propelled access equipment and mobile aluminium scaffold towers to the Construction, Industrial and Commercial sectors in NSW. Over the past 8 years On Site Access and Scaffolds has established a position of leadership, having grown the company to one of the largest suppliers of self propelled access machines and aluminium mobile scaffold towers in Australia. Our access fleet consists of over 1500 machines with 34 different models of scissor lifts, boom lifts, vertical man lifts and material lifts. As our machines are new and include the latest technology in safety and efficiency, we are confident that their reliability will minimize your down time, thereby ensuring the cost effectiveness of dealing with our company. In addition to self propelled access we have a large inventory of aluminium mobile scaffold towers and aluminium structures in NSW, protection barriers and a large fleet of fork lifts and 4WD telescopic material handlers. In September 2005 we merged our company with All Purpose Access in Western Australia, as part of a national expansion program. All Purpose Access is the leader in Western Australia in the rental of large boom lifts and scissor lifts and 4 WD telescopic material handlers to the construction, mining and agricultural sectors in that state. All Purpose Access currently have branches in Perth, Bunbury and Kalgoorlie. In March 2006 On Site Access and Scaffolds opened a fully operational branch in Brisbane thereby allowing the supply of access machines to our many customers who operate on a national basis. The Brisbane branch has a comprehensive fleet of new Genie access machines and 4WD telescopic material handlers. In October 2006 On Site Access and Scaffolds (Victoria) Pty Limited commenced trading in Melbourne from its premises in Healey Road Dandenong. On Site Access and Scaffolds Victoria acquired the assets and the staff of Giant Access in September 06 and subsequent to the acquisition has substantially increased the size of the rental fleet with the purchase of a range of Genie Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts. Plans for the coming years are to substantially increase the size of the Dandenong fleet and to increase the Victorian branch network. New branches have since been opened on the Gold Coast in Queensland and near Wollongong in NSW with more planned for 2008 In July 2007 On Site Access and Scaffolds and On Site Rentals joined forces with Next Capital Pty Ltd to form the On Site Rentals & Access Group. With Trevor James appointed as Group Chief Executive this new group will provide our customers with an even larger range of products and services and enhanced efficiencies.
